Connected Profiles

Connected Profiles let one Kharisma experience include multiple people.

They are useful when a team, organization, or group wants one QR code or one webapp flow with multiple people behind it.

What Connected Profiles are

Connected Profiles link Kharisma users through email addresses.

They create a structured group inside the experience.

Invitation flow

If the invited email address does not belong to an existing Kharisma account:

  1. Kharisma sends an invitation email
  2. The invited person is asked to sign up

If the invited email address already belongs to a Kharisma account:

  1. That account receives a notification or invitation
  2. The user can accept and join the connected profile structure

What Connected Profiles can do

  • organize people into groups
  • show a folder-like structure inside the webapp
  • let senders choose a specific person or split evenly across the group
  • support tips and donations

What Connected Profiles cannot do

  • receive service payments

Split behavior

In the webapp, senders can:

  • split tips or donations evenly across connected profiles
  • choose a specific connected profile or person

Group and tag examples

Users can organize connected profiles into groups, tags, or folders such as:

  • Kitchen
  • Bar
  • Servers
  • Cleaning Staff
  • Volunteers
  • Support Team

Use case examples

  • Restaurants can invite servers, kitchen staff, and bar teams into one connected structure.
  • Hotels can invite front desk, concierge, and cleaning staff into one connected structure.
  • Bars can invite bartenders and floor staff into one connected structure.
  • Salons can invite stylists, assistants, and front-desk staff into one connected structure.
  • Churches and nonprofits can organize volunteers, teams, and support roles.
  • Creative teams can organize performers, musicians, or collaborators.

Why this matters

Connected Profiles make Kharisma feel like a team system instead of a single-person payment page.

That helps larger organizations keep the experience human and clear.
